X-rays help diagnose arthritic changes, gastrointestinal disease, reproductive complications, urinary stones, heart disease, and lung disease. Kirtland Veterinary Hospital offers state of the art digital x-ray. We also have the ability to refer your pet’s x-rays to boarded veterinary radiologists (who specialize exclusively in reading veterinary x-rays) when our veterinarians wish to consult a specialist. Because our X-ray machine is in our office we can have your pet’s radiographs completed in under an hour. Because our radiographs are digital, when we need to refer them to a specialist, we can send them via e-mail and frequently have answers the same day!!
